Carnival (CCL) posted record third-quarter net income of $1.9 billion and raised its full-year outlook.

Adjusted net income hit $2.0 billion on about $8.44 billion in revenue, with constant-currency net yields up 2.4% despite a fuel-price spike.

Management expects more than $150 million of full-year adjusted net-income improvement versus June guidance after offsetting about $150 million in higher fuel impact.
