Maruti, Hyundai and Mahindra Post Record October Sales Ahead of Monday's Trade; TVS Volumes Rise 29%
Maruti Suzuki sold a record 276,120 vehicles in October, while Hyundai India and Mahindra also hit monthly highs; auto stocks trade on the figures Monday after Nifty Auto fell 3.3% in October.
India's largest carmakers reported record monthly sales for October on Sunday, November 1, 2026, as festive-season demand lifted dispatches to dealers. The figures arrive while Indian stock exchanges are closed for the weekend, so investors will trade on them when markets reopen on Monday, November 2.
